Located on the site of our former wooden scout hut, the Kitson Building is a modern facility in the heart of Bentley. It serves as the home of the 61st Doncaster (Bentley) Air Scouts and as a hub for the wider community.
The building includes a main hall with a recommended capacity of 80, a fully equipped kitchen, and accessible toilet facilities with a shower and baby-changing station. Upstairs, there are two meeting rooms and a flight simulator room equipped with two advanced flight simulator computers, reflecting our Air Scout heritage.
In addition to Scouting activities, the Kitson Building hosts various community events, such as regular coffee mornings, a summer breakfast club, and the council-funded Digital Cafe, which connects families with support, skills, and social opportunities.
